KRMC'S CARDIAC REHABILITATION SERVICES
KRMC's cardiac rehabilitation program helps people with heart disease improve their overall quality of life
For people who have had a heart attack, heart surgery, or other cardiac event, cardiac rehabilitation is a very important step toward a healthier, more active, lifestyle
At Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC), our highly skilled cardiac rehabilitation team is dedicated to helping patients restore and maintain their cardiovascular fitness.
Our program helps improve functional capacity and reduces risks for further problems. Additionally, it can help your sense of well-being and optimism about the future.
Serving cardiac patients
KRMC's cardiac rehabilitation program involves individualized exercise programs, education, nutritional counseling, and psychosocial support for people who have had a heart attack, heart surgery, or other cardiovascular event or procedure (such as angioplasty or stent placement) within the past twelve months.
Our program is located at KRMC's state-of-the-art Del E. Webb Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. During exercise, we monitor your heart activity while you safely build your strength and endurance.
A physician's prescription is required to take part in KRMC's cardiac rehabilitation program. Our services are covered by most health insurances, including Medicare.
Experienced professionals dedicated to your needs
KRMC's skilled cardiac rehabilitation team includes a cardiac nurse, exercise physiologist, pharmacist, and dietician.
Our team partners with you and your physician to develop and implement a personalized rehabilitation program based on your particular needs.
